The Scottish Gaelic term Làn-abaich translates to rich and mellow. This single malt scotch has been aged for 21 years in ex-bourbon barrels. The entire Glen Fohdry range is bottled at 47.1% ABV.

A pleasant aroma with hints of lemon, cinnamon, leather, and mild oak. The palate entry is mellow, featuring orange peel and a balanced feel. The finish, however, is disappointing with an unexpectedly sharp bite for a 21-year-old and a peculiar late peat note that clashes with the overall profile. This will likely appeal more to blend enthusiasts than single malt aficionados.
A pleasant, light flavor, without peat. The nose has some nice leather notes. The taste features strong notes of Green Apple Jolly Rancher candies. A very clean finish. No harshness at any point.
The aroma is quite distinct from how it comes across. It's got a floral and subtle scent. A bit dull with some warmth. One of a kind and worth sampling, though not a top pick.
Sweet & smooth. Goes down very easily and finishes warm.
