Geneva Richmond 3.5

A seldom-seen budget single malt sourced from Teaninich. Nose: Young and potent, yet pleasantly malty with grassy notes and abundant medicinal herbs. Taste: Quite intense, with a strong malt presence. Flavors of heather, clove, anise, green tea, and citrus. An overwhelmingly medicinal and herbal profile. Finish: Medium length and warm. Malt, citrus, and medicinal herbs persist. Final thoughts: This is undeniably the most diverse herbal Highland malt I've encountered. However, it's somewhat harsh when consumed neat. Adding water and allowing it to aerate is nearly essential. It also offers a rare opportunity to sample an affordable single malt from a distillery primarily known for its contributions to blends.
