Score: 86. Nose: Juniper is quite prominent, with grapefruit peel and citrus notes. Palate: Starts with juniper, but is quickly overtaken by grapefruit, citrus peel, subtle spice, cardamom, and generally delicate flavors. Finish: Medium, citrusy, gently warming, but fades relatively quickly. Body: Nicely pronounced in flavor while remaining quite smooth in alcohol, offering an unconventional profile. Paradoxically, it's better enjoyed neat, as in a G&T, the flavors recede and a grapefruit peel bitterness emerges.
