Hints of honeyed nail polish and butterscotch. The butterscotch carries through to the palate, mingling with candy corn and Sugar Daddys. As you might expect, this is a very sweet spirit. It's sweet and warm, with a pulsing heat and a faint sweetness lingering in the finish. All things considered, a decent whiskey for the cost.

For over five decades, I've consumed whiskey and frequently sample new offerings. I acquired a bottle of Ghost Owl Rye and was thoroughly unimpressed by the spirit. It possessed practically no aroma and lacked any significant flavor complexity. I regularly enjoy rye, as it's my favorite type of whiskey. The Ghost Owl failed to deliver on any of the qualities I seek in a rye!

Perry Asher 2.0

Sweet with an odd medicinal character, this whiskey from the Northwest is not very complex. It’s not the only distillery in the Northwest that has put out a dull spirit. I gave the region a genuine shot, but I’m returning to Scotland, Tennessee, or Kentucky for superior, intricate whiskeys.

The aroma is off-putting. Smells like a candle, artificial. Overloaded with vanilla.

Rye. Butterscotch on the nose, toasted grain on the palate. I enjoyed it.

Dahlia Elkins 4.0

It presents notes of butterscotch and caramel. It has a pleasant smoothness and a decent medium body.
