This brandy is quite light. It has scents of vanilla and caramel apple. There's ample warmth, with a tingly sensation initially, but it settles into a pleasant warmth at the end. The flavors aren't very deep, perhaps some caramelized fruit notes and a bit of white pepper at the conclusion. It might be a little thinner than I prefer and tastes somewhat young. The grapes were from the 2017 harvest, and I tasted it in 2019, indicating limited barrel aging, which is evident. It made a good Sidecar with Grand Marnier. It's certainly drinkable, if a bit forgettable.
