George Remus Rye Whiskey (Queen City Whiskey)

First taste, it's young (at least 2 years, according to the label). The nose is lightly spicy from the rye, with sweet maple syrup that quickly gives way to potent anise/licorice and a hint of apricot. The finish is warm and the rye spice sticks around.
