Smooth, pleasant butterscotch and dark fruit on the nose. Rich butterscotch, baking spice, soft mouthfeel, with a little more spice in the finish. It's not overwhelming to the senses like some Extra Añejos. It's well-balanced and quite exquisite, but still probably not worth the asking price. Pricing for premium tequila doesn't seem to scale as well as Scotch... I think it's likely better than the similarly priced ET 85th Anniversary, though.
