The aroma is dominated by sherry, raisins, and grape skins. The taste is sweet, smooth, fruity, and emphasizes wine notes. It's good, but not outstanding. The finish is surprisingly long and becomes a bit dry. It possesses considerably less oakiness than other Spanish brandies I've sampled. Its fruitiness is more akin to a VS cognac. This will likely become my preferred brandy for mixing and cooking, replacing the Torres 10.
