The only reason I'm rating this 4.5 is because another brand has many more aged options, preventing me from giving them all perfect scores. It presents as yellowed marshmallow, capturing classic aged tequila taste while masking its harsher qualities. It's as if an average aged tequila was made wonderfully. This isn't to say I'm criticizing the brand; it's genuinely my preferred aged tequila over four years old. You can discern sweetness from both bourbon and tequila, bitterness from wine, and a very slight tartness from the wine barrel. It's an interesting journey, albeit a brief one, as is common with most tequilas. But it's definitely worth purchasing!!!!

It presents as a mellowed marshmallow at its core, embodying the traditional Añejo profile. However, the wine barrel influence replaces the typical alcoholic sharpness, allowing you to discern notes of oak, bourbon, and wine. It settles on the mid-palate while delivering a powerful taste experience across the entire tongue. It's presently my top Añejo and offered at an excellent value.

Excellent, as is typical for Fuenteseca. It possesses that vibrancy and strength found in the 12 Year expression. Flavors include cooked agave, cherry, caramel, toffee, vanilla, flan, chocolate, citrus, coffee, cola, mango, and melons.
