This review is for Batch 2, 111.8 proof. The color is light golden. The nose reveals molasses, chocolate, and a hint of anise. Rum flavors dominate initially, but the finish brings out the rye with anise and pepper. An interesting drink. Ice nicely softens the edges.
A 5-year rye whisky blended with a 12-year Trinidad rum, with 3/4 rum and 1/4 whiskey at 50.5% alcohol. A pretty good accident.
