About this bottle
The Gleann Mόr Spirits Company, primarily recognized as an independent bottler of single malt Scotch whiskies, ventured into the gin market in 2015 with the release of FIRKIN gin. Due to the gin's production in small batches, typically not exceeding 250 bottles, Gleann Mόr named their new gin after a firkin, a small cask historically used for storing provisions. This gin features a curated selection of botanicals, including juniper, coriander seed, angelica root, and orris root, which are steeped in the base spirit and distilled four times. Following a brief period of maturation, approximately 3 months, in American oak casks previously used for aging American whiskey, the gin is bottled at 46% ABV.
