Nose: Medicinal, seaweed, gristy, allspice, burnt sugar, oak Palate: Stewed fruit, ash/char, green pepper, damp wood, dried apples and bananas Finish: Long, spicy, apples, oak, vanilla, leather, ginger on the aftertaste Smooth but diluted. Not as smoky as its name implies. There is some smoke, but the dominant flavor is a medium-sweet light dried fruit.

This attempted to be interesting and succeeded, but the flavors don't blend particularly well into the final experience. It gives off a strong industrial taste profile to me, which isn't necessarily bad, but it's also not my personal favorite.
Reminds me of exiting the subway after a weary workday and enjoying a drink. Subtle tastes of the underground mingle with notes of mesquite BBQ and luscious raspberry vanilla. This 'Filthy smoke' lives up to its reputation.
The peat is actually quite subtle with this one; my main flavors are vanilla with some kind of dry, astringent finish. Smoke is present but takes a backseat. Balanced okay, but not very exciting.
