About this bottle
This grain-to-glass whisky is crafted using both column and pot stills. Its mash bill comprises grains cultivated on the distillery's own farm, including rye, floor-malted rye, floor-malted barley, and wheat. Maturation occurs in a combination of new and used American oak barrels, as well as ex-wine barrels containing Sauternes, Moscatel, and Madeira. The total aging period is at least 42 months, followed by a 93-day marrying phase for the casks before bottling at 48% ABV.

A strong initial taste. It's spicy on the tongue and warms as it goes down. A little sickening. No single flavor stands out clearly.
The aroma is fruity and comforting. The initial sips had a sharpness, concluding with caramel. As I continued drinking, it softened with more fruit notes. Intriguing
A pleasant, simple beverage with a mouthfeel reminiscent of sweet honey. It's tasty, though not particularly intriguing.
Nutmeg and cinnamon on the nose. Sweet, caramel, and spices in the flavor.
