Appearance: Observing this special scotch, I note its light clover honey gold color, likely due to its relatively young age of eight years and the absence of added coloring. Medium-sized, viscous legs slowly descend the glass. Nose: The aroma presents light, ashy campfire smoke, followed by fruity ripe red apples with cinnamon, pear, orange zest, green grapes, honey, heather, pine, and an unusual Pinesol note toward the end. Taste: The delightful palate includes notes of clove, cardamom, cracked pepper, caramel and honey, and orange. Finish: The finish begins with warmth, then transitions to a sweeter, honeyed conclusion with a creamy texture. Thoughts: This special edition scotch was delicious, and a friend generously shared some with me. I thoroughly enjoyed it and would recommend it to anyone who encounters it. Many thanks to Fettercairn! Cheers!
