This is a 12-year-old Yamazaki finished for an additional 6 years in cedar casks, blended with Yamazaki sherry cask and Mizunara cask whiskies (at least 18 years old) and Chita whiskies (at least 18 years old). Superb. The best of the evening. Potentially superior to Yamazaki 18 and Hibiki 21. It presents notes of Raisins, Chocolate, Toffee, Figs, Vanilla, Flowers, Lychee, Sudachi, Walnuts, Almond Pastry, Sandalwood, Plums, Cherries, Caramel, and Yuzu.
