Neat. Pale straw in color. The nose is dominated by agave, with some herbaceous notes, oak, minerals, and a slight touch of vanilla. The palate offers agave sweetness with hints of oak, toffee, orange peel, almonds, and anise, balanced by bitter green herbs and a subtle mineral salinity. The finish is dry with moderate sweet/tartness, minerals, orange peel, and oak tannins. The richness/mouthfeel is moderately thin, but it does have some lingering legs. Overall, a pleasant, naturally flavored tequila. Personally, I appreciate its drier/bitterer/more complex profile compared to the typical tequila. The oak influence is minimal but sufficient to add another layer of complexity without overshadowing the agave notes. Exceptional value.
