Consumed neat. Exhibits a very pale straw hue. The aroma presents mild agave, complemented by oak and herbal notes. The taste is agave-forward and sweet, with bitter herbs, subtle vanilla-infused oak, anise, black pepper, and a trace of sweet cinnamon. The finish is relatively light, featuring sweet and bitter herbal notes. My expectations were not particularly high, but this proved to be a pleasant discovery. It appears that the economical range from an outstanding distillery is still quite capable. This stands out as one of the premier reposados within its price bracket. If you appreciate an additive-free, authentic, lighter reposado with delicate complexity, this may appeal to you.
