El Sarao Oaxaca Mezcal Cuishe Joven is a delicate, artisanal agave spirit from El Sarao Oaxaca Mezcal NOM-O441X in San Dionisio Ocotepec, Oaxaca, Mexico, made from 15-year-old wild Cuishe. It opens with an aromatic profile featuring hints of agave, citrus, tropical fruits, flowers, herbs, spices, and earth. Its fresh character adds notes of lime, pineapple, bell pepper, olive, rose, and mint, leading to a balanced, medium-length finish with traces of lime zest, pepper, vanilla, sea spray, and smoke. Sampled in March/April 2022.
