P&H Egan Ltd. was established by Patrick and Henry Egan in 1852, engaging in wholesaling, bottling, malting, and brewing until ceasing operations in 1968 due to market competition. The brand has since been revived by fifth and sixth-generation family members. This 100% pot-still single malt whiskey is aged for 10 years in American oak and is bottled without chill filtration.

Doesn't smell like much. The first sip delivers significant richness and spice. It finishes with a honey flavor. Adding a little water or serving it over ice opens up the flavor a bit more.
I like this whiskey more than most Irish whiskies I've tried. It has bolder flavors than a typical Irish whiskey. It's a bit strong but has pleasant notes of honey, spice, and charred oak.
A very smooth single malt that drinks like scotch. Subtle peat on the finish. Excellent whiskey for the money.
Sweet, a little peppery, hints of pencil lead and a metallic note in the finish, I would drink it again
