EFFEN Cucumber Vodka

Nose: briny cucumber, cucumber-infused water, mellow grain, cracked pepper, slight ethanol sting. Palate: briny cucumber, cracked pepper, lively green notes, mellow grain, subtle alcohol prickle, medium-length finish with briny cucumber, lively green notes, and cracked pepper. This brand truly nailed the cucumber flavor. It's remarkably similar to cucumber salad or water with cucumber steeped in it. The aroma and taste are quite alike, though the aroma is delicate and crisp, while the taste is a little more piquant. I rate its execution as highly as their Blood Orange version, but the flavor profile isn't quite as appealing to me. Nonetheless, it's quite good, and I don't mind sipping it straight. For me, it's comparable to Jim Beam Original.

This is my preferred vodka for crafting Bloody Marys. The distinct cucumber flavor of this lively spirit cannot be masked. It elevates my favorite Bloody Mary to a new level of taste.

Vegetal with bold cucumber flavor and a long spicy finish. Not great, but a friend likes it in a Moscow Mule

For what it costs, it's an enjoyable vodka, likely best for cocktails rather than drinking straight 😊
