An explosion of stewed yellow fruits. Think orange marmalade, salted butter caramel, and maple syrup. A sweetness coats the drink. Gentle spice notes (cinnamon, ginger) come from the European oak. The finish is long and warming. The sugar fades, revealing drier notes of oak, toasted nuts, and a lingering candied fruit. It's an ideal whisky for those who enjoy rich, fruity, and decadent spirits. If you appreciate whiskies aged in Sherry casks (like GlenDronach or Aberlour), you'll likely enjoy this sweeter, more exotic variation. It's a slow-sipping whisky, perfect for watching football on a Sunday.

Nose: Powerful, serious punch of rich and thick fruity nose with lots of pear, grapes, sweet white wine, oily, lots of nuts and pastry dough. there’s a hidden sea of spices down below all that, waiting for a trigger to burst forward. Palate: cake spice, sweet grapes, nuts, smooth and creamy, oak and wood spices a mildly bitterness is balanced which keeps the sweetness in line Finish: Long finish with sweet grapes, nuts and creamy honey I really liked this to the point I'm looking for another bottle for my stash, it is a little pricey for its age but not so that it's putting me off buying another. This was my first delve into Edradour and I'm not disappointed.

Toasted hazelnuts, spicy wood (nutmeg, cloves) with a hint of saltiness, all within a rich, grainy texture... Perhaps not as complex as other Edradours, but quite tasty!
