Della Sosa 4.0

Heavily peated, smoky, and yet... Sweet! Aged in Sauternes wine casks, this Whisky is very rich. The nose is very soft, with the Sauternes notes coming through clearly. But on the palate, hints of raisins and honey appear before the peat emerges. The finish is long-lasting, sweet, and quite oily. This isn't for everyone; I enjoyed tasting it, but it's quite complex and will only appeal to those seeking something different... dare I say unique?

Kerri William 4.0

The aroma is more potent than the stated ABV would suggest. Sweet honey BBQ smoke on the nose, evolving into a smooth, sweet honey with sufficient smoke to be enjoyable. The finish is a bit sharp with salt, brine, and a heather smoke that gradually dissipates. Imagine a less intense version of Port Charlotte.

Trenton Bertrand 3.5

Good, but the wine influence isn't prominent.
