About this bottle
Eden Mill's inaugural single malt, released on April 24, 2018, was the first whisky from St. Andrews in 160 years. The Hip Flask Series is a new addition to the distillery's offerings, featuring seven distinct 200ml bottles. Each bottle in the series utilizes different malt types and undergoes finishing in various oak casks. The entire series, priced at £25 per bottle, had a total release of 3,800 bottles. For Series No. 5, a "Frankenstein malt bill" was used, comprising one-third each of brown & crystal malt, chocolate malt, and pale malt, matured in a 50-liter virgin American oak octave cask.
