(Good Spirits Co. Glasgow – Virtual ‘Peat in the wrong place’ Whisky Tasting, August 20, 2021). Aroma: Tree fruit, blossoms, red berries, apple Taste: Blackberry jam, tart fruit, woody notes, green apple Finish: Moderately long finish. Tingling sensation (cinnamon & chilli), cooling sensation. Leaves the mouth feeling quite dry. Sweet, a little 'hot', but very fruity. Barely perceptible hints of smoke, truly just a light background presence. Very welcoming and easy to consume. It tied for second place among the six samples, receiving 19% of the votes for favorite of the evening. 76% of attendees indicated they enjoyed the whisky.
