About this bottle

Drumguish is the initial single malt Scotch whisky released by Speyside Distillery, later bottled as Glentromie and Spey whisky. George Christie founded The Speyside Distillery in 1962, after establishing a grain distillery in 1957, with the intention of creating his own malt distillery. The distillery, situated near Kingussie, was completed in 1987, but whisky production commenced in 1990. Drumguish is presented at 40% ABV.

Noel Chaney 4.0

This is a polarizing whisky. It's a very young single malt that provides a lot of burn. It has very deep notes of wood smoke and charcoal. The finish on this single malt is one of the strangest I've ever encountered; it leaves an odd "tingle" on the roof of your mouth for some time afterward. It's very inexpensive, so I would recommend everyone try it at least once (if you can find it).

Smooth, caramel, no smoke. Okay, but I probably wouldn't buy it.
