In short: It has a fantastic flavor but is a bit too subtle for bitters. Full review: I added three dashes of the bitters to seven ounces of water. It primarily tastes of rosewater and dried rose hip, with sweet anise at the forefront and the expected bitter gentian finish. It's nearly perfect but likely wouldn't hold up against the intensity of commercially produced bitters in a drink like a sazerac.
