Glycerin is an ingredient in these bitters. It's a shame because, aside from the unpleasant Glycerin, they aren't terrible. The flavor stands out to me like artificial sweetener in a diet soda.

Angostura Cocoa Bitters incorporates Trinitario cocoa nibs from Trinidad & Tobago, alongside other botanicals. This release marks the third bitters offering from the brand, following the introduction of their Orange Bitters in 2007. Angostura Cocoa Bitters made its U.S. debut in August 2020.

The gentian is a little overpowering, but there's a comforting cocoa core. It's a quality spirit.
