A rich, independently bottled 6-year-old single malt Scotch whisky from an unknown distillery on the isle of Islay. This is a small batch release from Douglas Laing's Single Minded line. It begins lightly with notes of citrus zest, Ozone, lemon peel, dark-earthy peat, coal smoke & leafy notes; while a heavy middle adds notes of minerals, green leaves, smoke, soot, a hint of licorice, earthiness & zest; leading to a long finish of sharp apple skin, a hint of mint, menthol & biscuity grain.
