This is a smooth rum, comparable to Parrot Bay in smoothness but with the proof of Captain Morgan. It's a sweet, easily drinkable spirit. If I didn't know better, I'd suspect it's simply corn whiskey that aged in a barrel near Lake Michigan over the summer.
