An potent, refined, cask strength Brandy from PM Spirits, created from a mix of 'ghost grapes': Plant de Graisse, Mauzac Blanc, Meslier St Francois, Jurancon Blanc, Mauzac Rose & Clairette de Gascogne. It is aged in estate-cultivated oak barrels before being bottled at 52% ABV. Upon opening, an almost overwhelming aroma of grappa pomace & sourdough starter was present! It mellowed after two weeks of aging! It possesses a marvelous, aromatic beginning with hints of stewed orchard fruits, wood, flowers, herbs & spices; while a rich & engaging development adds notes of fruit skins, quince paste, lemon grass, apple blossoms & linden tree blossoms; culminating in a long & warm conclusion with notes of oak, wildflower honey & young Rhum Agricole.
