About this bottle
Distillery No. 209's primary gin is produced from corn sourced from the Midwest through five distillations. Initially, a column-still is used for four distillations to create a vodka base. Botanicals are then steeped in this spirit overnight before the final distillation in a 25-foot, hand-hammered copper alembic pot-still. The botanical mix includes juniper from Calabria, bergamot orange peel, lemon peel, cardamom pods, cassia bark, angelica root, coriander seed, and undisclosed components. The final product is bottled at 46% ABV.

A pioneer of the contemporary Craft Gin movement. A favorite in San Francisco.
I typically dislike gin, but this is enjoyable. It reminds me of Hendricks.
Works well in a gin and tonic with a squeeze of lime.
