The peat is noticeable, though considerably less than a Laphroaig, and quite pleasant. Lots presents itself on the palate and nose, but I still find it difficult to precisely identify the aromas. It's rather expensive; I wouldn't purchase it, but it was interesting to sample. It drinks very well neat. It would benefit from aging in a barrel.
