This whiskey is produced using a mash bill primarily of rye, with lesser amounts of corn and malted barley. It is diluted with limestone-filtered water sourced from the Devils River area near San Antonio, Texas. The whiskey is chill filtered and bottled at 45% ABV.

A friend provided this for us to try tonight, offering an opportunity to explore something different. The label provides minimal details, stating only that it's a rye whiskey produced and bottled in Dallas, Texas. The aroma offered little beyond damp grass or hay, which I consider underdeveloped rye characteristics. The palate was much the same. I can drink it, but I won't seek it out again.
Possesses a gentle aroma. My inaugural rye. A dry conclusion with a mild sting. Lingering earthy notes on the palate.
Green tea and honey on the nose. Light, sweet, with a raw rye spice. The finish fades quickly.
