Wilbur Cramer 3.5

As expected from the blend components - 80% dark Guyana, 20% agricole blanc. Pleasant dark brown color, but still transparent, not opaque like some dark rums. Noticeably thick. The vibrant agricole blanc dominates the experience, even at 20%. Despite being the smaller portion, the distinctiveness of the two rums makes it taste primarily like unaged agricole, with only faint traces of the sweet, rich Guyana dark rum at the edges. Nose is intense. Cooked squash, fresh vegetation, and noticeable proof spice are gently balanced by brown sugar, whey, and a touch of toffee. Rosewater, bubblegum, and roasted bell peppers are lightly coated with molasses, heavy cream, and coconut. The tongue remains with a metallic tang, but the sweet molasses defines the finish. Not the most refined blend, but the agricole's character is well-defined, making it an enjoyable drink. Quite flavorful, but perhaps better suited as an ingredient in tiki drinks or Martinique-focused cocktails rather than a direct replacement for traditional dark rums. Update: Used in a rum old fashioned and it was amazing. It has a cordial-like quality, and the extra sweetness makes the Agricole slightly medicinal, but it's incredible. Excellent balance and bold taste. Might buy another bottle just for this.

Charity Lawton 3.8

Pleasant and unique. It had a nice sweet start, and the heat builds towards the end.

Shannon Mccray 3.5

Dark fruit like plums and dates, with a caramel popcorn aroma.
