DeLeón Leóna, considered DeLeón's luxury añejo "crown jewel" and backed by Sean "Diddy" Combs, is a blend of select tequilas from the company's private reserve. It ages initially in American oak, followed by a finish in French Sauternes casks for over a year, and is presented in a custom box for $850.

The primary reason this did not get a perfect score was a faint medicinal aftertaste. This presents rich scents of caramel, honey, vanilla, cinnamon, and dried spices. On the palate, we experience strong tastes of wood, spices, sun-dried raisins, brown sugar, and lingering medicinal notes. It has significant tannins and an incredibly luxurious mouthfeel.
Damn. Incredibly mellow.
