The single malt spent 13 years maturing in traditional oak hogsheads before undergoing a two-year finishing period in tequila casks sourced from the Highlands (Los Altos) region of Jalisco. This bottling became available at select retailers starting in October 2023, with a suggested retail price of $279.99.

This isn't your typical scotch; the tequila cask treatment is surprisingly effective for me. It's sweet with a salty character that persists on the palate. I'm unsure if I'd get a whole bottle, but it's certainly worth sampling.
