Nose: Toffee, buttered popcorn, crème brûlée. Palate: Toffee, vanilla, dark chocolate, banana chips, coconut, nutty, and woody. Finish: Long-lasting. Dark chocolate, malt loaf, IPA beer, oak, and toast. Cask Details: Cask #646, 1st-fill ex-bourbon barrel, 1 of 242 bottles. This would pair wonderfully with a beer chaser. Notes of oak, coconut, nuttiness, and caramel. Very easy to drink, a tasty, young dram. It tied for third place out of six drams tasted, receiving 11% of the vote for favorite of the night. 76% of attendees enjoyed the whisky.
