More sweet than expected for 125 proof. A superb harmony of sweet and smoky. The richness counterbalances the alcohol. A powerful alcohol punch, but I enjoy it with the smoke. The local pear imparts a mesquite-like flavor, unlike what you might anticipate from a smoky scotch. I adore this.
