According to Copperworks’ website, “Released in June 2020, this whiskey offers aromas of toffee and ripe fruit, followed by plum and a pleasant smokiness. Entry flavors of walnut, baking spices, and red tea lead to more fruit (plum and tropical), with a finish of cocoa, papaya, and a slight minty finish.” This may be their finest offering to date.

Toffee, vanilla, and coconut on the nose. Flavors of baking spice and brown sugar. Finish of tropical fruits, menthol, and bitter cocoa. Delightful!
Cognac tastes like cough syrup to me, and the cognac finish is very prominent here. If you enjoy cognac, you'll likely appreciate this.
