Cocchi Rosa Americano

An off-dry vermouth made with a mix of Moscato d’Asti, Brachetto & Malvasia, infused with botanicals like: Saffron, Vanilla, Rose Petals, Ginger, Quinine, Rhubarb, Wormwood, Star Anise, Yarrow, Juniper, Gentian, Cocoa, Bitter Orange, Camphor, Rosemary, Sandalwood, Musk, Myrrh, Nutmeg, Quassia & Amargo, bottled at 16.5% ABV. It has an aromatic beginning with notes of fruits, wood, herbs & spices; followed by a complex & off-dry middle that led to a long & bittersweet finish. December 2017 - January 2018

I'm a fan of anything similar to Aperol, and this surpasses Aperol. The botanicals and the depth and complexity of the flavor are impressive. I enjoy it on ice with sparkling water, and I would never use Aperol that way. Just try it!

Less assertive than vermouth but more flavorful than many aperitifs. Excellent.
