Appearance: A pale salmon-pink hue, resembling a pink tea rose or a ripe peach. It is transparent and free of sediment. Aroma: Fresh and fruity, with undertones of rose petal, cherry, and grapefruit, much like a high-quality Sancerre rosé. Flavor & Texture: Crisp, vibrant, and delicate. It strongly showcases the underlying rosé wine character, balanced by mild bitterness. The initial taste is refreshingly acidic, maintaining an elegantly fruity profile throughout. The texture is light and palate-cleansing. This is the third of the modern Lillet aromatized wine trio. It stands well as an excellent aperitif on its own, serves as a fine base for a refreshing spritz, and is a surprisingly adaptable cocktail ingredient. It is the most subtle and delicate of the Lillet range, so be mindful when mixing, as it can be overwhelmed by intense flavors. If Lillet Rouge represents Gal Gadot and Lillet Blanc is Jennifer Lawrence, then Lillet Rosé is Audrey Hepburn. Simply mixing it with plain sparkling lemonade works well, though it can be overpowered if not careful, and some might find the result too sweet and syrupy. In my view, it pairs best with champagne, cava, or sparkling asti (for those with a sweet preference), topped with a bit of soda and a citrus slice. It also complements tonic water and has a particular affinity for floral liqueurs. My preferred mix so far is 2oz Lillet Rosé and 1oz St Germain in a champagne flute, topped with champagne. You can add a grapefruit peel twist for extra tang, or if it's too dry for your palate, add a barspoon of agave syrup. "Excellent": 88/100 (4.5 stars)

About this bottle
Introduced in 2012, this aromatized wine expanded the Lillet aperitif range. Its wine base is derived from Grand Cru Bordeaux grapes—Semillon, Sauvignon Blanc, and Muscatel—which are blended with French fruit liqueurs. These liqueurs are infused with aromatics such as Spanish and Haitian orange peel, along with quinine. A small amount of Lillet Rouge is added for coloration. It is bottled at 17% ABV.

Really enjoyed this. Perhaps a touch more intricate than the Blanc. Still need to try the Rouge. I think this might be a blend of both. Don't hold me to that. Flavors of slightly bitter citrus and a botanical, herbaceous core. Ends with a hint of bitterness. Just how I prefer it. Excellent for a warm day outdoors. Likely good in mixed drinks, too. Note - This was sampled at ambient temperature shortly after acquiring it. It will probably get better when served cold.
An off-dry, sustainable, infused wine made from Bordeaux Sémillon & Merlot grapes. Macerated liqueurs are combined and then aged in French oak. It begins aromatically, with a vibrant and balanced life leading to a refreshing and floral conclusion! August 2017 / January 2019 / February 2021 Serve chilled for those who prefer a Rosé with a bit more alcohol. Excellent for mixing into cocktails!
A beautiful, clear rose color. It has sweeter, more floral fruit notes (strawberry, light grape) than Lillet Blanc, with less of the bitter quinine detectable in the mouth (though it is present on the nose). It's light, fresh, and delicate. Suitable as an aperitif (served neat and chilled or on ice) or as a cocktail ingredient.
