Penelope Tafoya 3.0

Tastes of cinnamon, baking spices, apples, and some caramel. It feels hot on the palate but isn't sharp, remaining smooth. There's a slight bitterness reminiscent of burnt sugar. It's intriguing, though not as unusual as I'd anticipated. The finish is medium. Served with ice, it develops slightly, revealing an additional peanut flavor. Rated 8/10/17.

Matthew Tavares 3.0

The color is like old oak, resembling many aged sherries. The nose offers honey, dried cherries, and apples, plus chocolate. Sherry flavors come through on the palate. The oiliness and astringency the previous reviewer noted are certainly present. The finish has medium notes of dried apples. Overall, it's not as enjoyable as the nine-year expression.

Devon Corrigan 4.0

The aroma is incredibly intense, with hints of apricot and peach. Adding a drop of limestone water brought out an immediate apple taste on the palate. The finish has a consistent burn.
