About this bottle

Clase Azul Ultra is crafted from blue Weber agave that is nine years old and has been cooked for 72 hours. Following fermentation with a unique yeast strain developed by Clase Azul, the tequila is distilled in pot stills. It is then matured for five years in Spanish ex-sherry casks. Production of Clase Azul Ultra is limited to small, numbered batches of 100 units. The tequila is presented in hand-painted decanters adorned with platinum and 24-karat gold accents.

Celina Anguiano 1.5

Far too sweet for a tequila. This tequila is worth so much, but the liquid is pure caramel syrup. I suspect it was aged too long in the wrong barrels; all the vanilla and caramel notes are overpowering the agave flavor. In my opinion, a bit overpriced.

Bo Dooley 4.5

Amazing buttery taste with white pepper and delightful green melon. It's outstanding. The mouthfeel is rich, wonderful, and sweet. The only potential issue is the consistent sweetness. It's worth the cost.

I sampled this tequila recently during a work trip. It ranks among the smoothest I've ever had. Sweet and mellow with just the right amount of warmth. I plan to acquire a bottle for my collection.

Incredible tequila. Shows flavors of vanilla and baking spices. Astonishingly smooth.

Johanna Stack 5.0

Exceptionally smooth, with vanilla and caramel notes. It's hard to conceive of a superior spirit.
