Madelynn Chatman 2.5

A rich, single estate Brandy by the Abecassis family in Cognac, France, aged for a minimum of 6 years in oak. It has an aromatic beginning with notes of tree fruits, dried & candied fruits, flowers, wood, nuts & spices; while a rich & complex life adds notes of dried fig, anise, orange zest, hazelnut, walnut, cedar & oak; that led to a quick & complex end. This is a good cognac, offering a distinct palate compared to the major players. Given it's an XO, the price is quite reasonable. However, after trying the 50ml sample, I won't be purchasing the full 750ml bottle. I'm curious to sample the VSOP, as it's rated so highly.
