This is one of the oldest Armagnac producers in the whole region. I discovered a single bottle of 17-year-old, covered in dust, just sitting on a shelf at a liquor store. Naturally, I had to try it. My goodness, it's fascinating. The aroma is rich with dark berries, molasses, and spice. The taste is full of caramelized baking spice and sweet, lingering grape must. Wow, this is remarkable.
