A friend recommended this whiskey, and I don't regret obtaining it. The nose clearly indicates this is a remarkable whiskey. It's highly complex, fruity, sweet, with some oak and sweetness. On the palate, it delivers more fruity flavors, oak, and a little spice, with a medium to long finish. The ABV seems fitting for this spirit, as it provides substantial flavor along with a pleasant burn.

About this bottle
Master Blender Murphy Quint developed this limited edition expression, The Untitled Cigar Malt Project. It begins with a blend of single malts aged in Cedar Ridge bourbon barrels, then undergoes finishing in several casks: a Madeira-inspired Cedar Ridge wine, first-fill Amontillado sherry, new French oak, new American oak (char #3), and peated malt that was finished in ruby port. This bottling is presented at 57.45% ABV and will be available starting in July 2024, with a SRP of $99.99.

I searched for one of these bottles for months and finally found one this past fall. I've tried it on at least four separate occasions and simply cannot comprehend the distiller's objective. Usually, my palate can adjust to any flavor profile after a couple of pours, but this one is not enjoyable at all.
Nose: Figs, caramel, and chocolate Palate: Additional fig and dark fruit notes, crème brûlée, and a smooth mouthfeel Finish: Lingering with dark fruits, chocolate, and spice
