About this bottle
This rye whiskey from Virginia's Catoctin Creek Distilling Co. is a collaboration with the heavy metal band GWAR, formed in Richmond, Virginia in 1984 and connected to the state. Ragnarök Rye is a pot-distilled rye, initially aged in new white oak barrels, and then finished in sugar maple and cherrywood casks. It is bottled at 92 proof and became available in February 2021.
