About this bottle

After initially introducing tequila sodas, Casa Azul has now launched three USDA-certified organic tequilas: blanco, reposado, and añejo. Made from 100% Blue Weber agave sourced from a single estate, each expression contains no additives. The reposado variety was matured in American oak for three months before bottling. Actress Eiza González, who is from Mexico, has also joined the brand as an investor alongside this tequila release. This reposado tequila became available in select US markets in April 2023, carrying a suggested retail price of $89.

An elegant Single Estate Agave Spirit from the Montes Family in Jalisco (Los Valles), Mexico [NOM 1480]. It's produced using a stone oven and aged for 2-3 months in ex-Woodford Reserve Bourbon Barrels. It begins aromatically with notes of agave, wood, herbs, and spices; develops into a rich profile with notes of candied yams, toffee, and maple; and concludes with a balanced, medium-length finish featuring hints of pepper, cinnamon, toasted oak, and earth.
