About this bottle
The Real family produces Calirosa tequila in Amatitán, Jalisco, Mexico. This extra añejo expression uses 100% Blue Weber agave, harvested between 7 and 9 years of age with a 26% sugar content. Following slow cooking in brick ovens, fermentation lasts up to 50 hours before double distillation. The tequila then ages for 36 months in California red wine barrels. It is bottled at 40% ABV and was released in November 2021.
