Birch beer, clove, fresh mint, black coffee, and semi-sweet chocolate follow. Hints of cedar and pine are concealed deeper within. Palate: Toasted rye grain and spearmint are plentiful. Brown sugar, black coffee, and birch beer return, complemented by clove and a touch of cocoa powder. Finish: Birch beer and toasted oak slowly recede into a soft mintiness, concluding with a warm and pleasing sensation. Summary: An excellent pour. Particularly delightful in the cold winter months. It is deep and rich, possessing a touch of freshness and spice. Absolutely worth the expenditure.
